The Carolina Theater in Spruce Pine is a wonderful little spot; in its heyday the likes of Patsy Cline and Roy Acuff used to play there. Since its reorganization a couple years ago, the folks there are hoping they can bring the same acclaim back to the theater located on the edge of the Toe River. Thanks to everyone for coming to see the Rangers in Spruce Pine!

Steep Canyon...Lager

Springfest is always a great time to reunite with some of our friends we don't get to see enough - the Larry Keel bunch, the Skunk boys, Dread Clampitt, and many more. We'd like to wish a special happy birthday to Pam.

And it's no joke, the band has come full circle and there's now a BEER named after us!....Made by Brewmaster Steve at the Livery in Benton Harbor, Michigan. We're hoping to get it on tap at a few places in Western NC in the near future - more on this story as it develops.

In the meantime, check out the beer menu at:

We hope to see those of you in Northern VA & WV this weekend!

Seven Mountains brings Rangers back to PA

Up until a couple of years ago we didn't even know that bluegrass existed in the state of Pennsylvania. Great festivals like Gettysburg and bands Del McCoury and Dan Paisley and Southern Grass totally obliterated that misconception; the area is now one of our more frequent tour stops.

We'll be up in PA this weekend with a couple shows in York & Mt. Holly Springs. Hoping to meet up with some old friends and some new ones.
